((If you want in on this RP, be sure to make very descriptive posts. This is a detailed RP, and I'd like it to remain this way.)) *Our story does not take place, but rather starts out, on the planet Altaea. It was in the middle of the night when the warnings were received by the higher officials of the world, and the evacuation of the entire population were sent to the people of the world. They were 'hoping' that the citizens of Altaea would arrive at the spaceports around the world in a timely, orderly fashion, but all that they received was absolute and total chaos, for the message that was sent to the world was this: "Altaea will be destroyed within hours. Please grab whatever personal items you may have, and make your way to your nearest spaceport so that you can be evacuated." People of all races, gender, color, anything you can use to describe a person, were there, some attempting to force their way through, but were held back by the security placed there for the protection of the citizens. It was likely that there were casualties throughout Altaea due to the chaos amongst its people. Children could be heard screaming and crying, not knowing what was going on, and adults were failing at comforting them, for they, too, were breaking down emotionally. Amongst one of the many groups of people on Altaea was a female fox by the name of Desri Skye. She was there with her mother and father, having taken with them only a few bags packed with enough clothes to last them the journey. Her head was kept down most of the time, only looking up when she had to move. Shuttles were lifting off as they were filled, taking more people away to safety. Her eyes looked up as another shuttle nearby ignited its engine and blasted off into the night sky.* "Mom, Dad...are we going to make it " Desri asked timidly. "Yes, dear. We're not far from the next ship." her mother replied soothingly, pointing ahead through the crowd. *Their area was relatively calmer than most areas, since a handful of people have already been taken to safety from whatever impending doom was approaching. Desri looked up to see the shuttle that her mother was pointing at, and as she did so, a large explosion was seen and heard. Off in the distance, about a couple of miles away, a large area of the land suddenly burst into fire, causing a tremendous explosion that sent some flying debris off in every direction, them being one of them. People started screaming and scrambling about like ants on a destroyed ant mound as boulders were crashing down around them. Desri was immediately tossed around like a paper doll as the crowd scrambled about.* "Mom!! Dad!!' she screamed, trying to push her way through the crowd to find her parents after getting separated from them. *Another chunk of earth crashed into the ground not far off from where she was. The ship was not yet harmed, and the engines were firing up to take off before the chances were to happen. Desri clung to her bag as she ran towards the ship through the crowd, keeping an eye out for her parents as she ran.* "MOM!! DAD!!! WHERE ARE YOU! " she screamed as loud as her lungs would allow. "They must be on the ship, they wouldn't risk themselves out here!" she thought as she ran up the stairs into the ship, people crowding around her. *She entered the ship, where many people were trying to find places to sit and fasten themselves for when the shuttle would take off. She found a seat after a moment's search, her eyes still darting around franctically as she still continued her search. She buckled herself in, holding her back close to her chest. As soon as the maximum passenger count was reached, which happened quite quickly, the shuttle door closed and sealed itself, and Desri could feel the ship lurch upwards as the shuttle took off into the air. As she could see from the nearby window, people were still there on the surface, trying to enter another ship. As they left the atmosphere, she watched in horror as orangish dots began to cover the surface of Altaea. She immediately recognized them to be more explosions, but they were covering most of the landmasses. As the ship broke through Altaea's gravitational pull, a blinding light could be seen, which shone pure white through the shuttle windows, and a massive quake could be felt inside of the ship, lurching it horribly. More panicked screams could be heard in the ship, and once their vision returned to them from the sudden flash, they looked outside to see that what was once Altaea was now nothing more than floating debris moving through space.* "Oh...my God..." a voice said somewhere in the ship. "Altaea..." another whispered silently. *Desri just sat there, her jaw dropped at what she was seeing. her home, her own world, was now gone. Everything that she could remember about it would mean nothing now. Just then, the speakers on the shuttle turned on.* "Citizens of Altaea...our world is gone. We managed to exit Altaea's gravity pull before the world exploded, but not all of the citizens were that lucky...I want us to have a moment of silence, to offer our condolences to the departed..." The pilot spoke solemnly. *Everyone bowed their heads on the ship. Sniffling could be heard, along with some crying here and there. Desri, herself, was in tears. What if Mom and Dad didn't make it onto the ship More tears flooded her face as she closed her eyes, letting them flow freely. After a moment passed, the speakers turned back on.* "It is now safe to unbuckle yourselves from your seats. Artificial gravity has been enabled on the ship, so you can move around freely. The lobbys on floors 2, 3, and 4 are now open. Please find yourselves rooms on the upper floors." *Desri unbuckled herself slowly, clutching onto her bag with one hand. She went to get up, and moved past the aisles, but then fell down on her hands and knees, her face almost hitting the floor.*

"Shit! Fuck! Damn!" The shouts of a woman, a purple hedgehog in a leather jacket and skinny jeans, could be heard as she tripped down the street, the PSA fresh in her ears. She was one of the first to start running through the crowd while most of the others stood there, shocked for a few moments. "Out of my way, idiot!" A man was shoved aside as the woman ran past. A few people nearby fell over under the man's weight, and some of the other runners tripped over the bodies. No one besides the people on the ground seemed to care much, as the stampede slowly formed, thundering simultaneous screams piercing the air. "There's no way in hell that I'm going to get caught up in this mess! Getting all on one ship with these imbeciles Fuck that!" She'd reached the dusty building before the whole crowd had started to hurry. The hedgehog kicked down the door, ignoring her key, and ran through the anteroom that led into a large hangar. It gave off the strange appearance that it was owned by a messy, single-pilot ship-builder, but only the woman knew that she was really more of a weapons expert instead. The woman kicked open several cases, which sprung open on springs. She reached down and pulled out several different weapons of various shapes and sizes. She caught her jacket zipper on a case lid while she stood up, and it opened to reveal her white undershirt. She didn't particularly care, though: she was on limited time. "Shit, shit, shit, SHIT!" She used her heeled boots to tear the cover away from a large vehicle in the center of the room. It was a large ship, but built for only one person, and one person alone: Xenon Noble. Xenon shifted most of the weapons to under her left arm and punched in the access code. The ship whirred as a door opened and she shoved inside all of her picked up weapons. Then, she deftly turned and found a freezer. Xenon pulled open the door and removed from it a plastic-wrapped crate, full of different kinds of food. The hedgehog then took it inside the ship and slid it into a compartment and pressed a green button. The cooling unit would house her food. Xenon had been prepared for this kind of thing for a long time, if she was ever to be hunted down by enemy gangs. That's what she gets for stealing from the infamous "Hazards" and "Gores". "Fucking hell, I didn't think I'd ever be escaping a planet! Damn, damn, damn!" Xenon murmured. She lifted a pair of oxygen units into the cargo bay of the single-pilot vessel, and then brought in another pair. Xenon meticulously connected them into four nozzles, double-checked the pressure readings, and saw the blinking green light that assure her that there would be oxygen prepared in case the ship's prepared supply was to leak. Her packing continued with several gun energy cells and multitudes of bullet magazines. Xenon was oddly prepared for an evacuation, but the only part of it was the moving part... not the actual part that involved leaving the planet. She'd only ever gone far enough into space with that vessel to escape gravity on two separate occasions. This time... she would need the suit she'd crafted for longer space excursions. Xenon ran to a closet and removed the suit. It was black and purple, much like her quill pattern was. The helmet seemed sealed perfectly as when she first developed the uniform, so she placed it in her ship. She double-checked for multiple first-aid packs and other various medicinal equipment, and when the cargo bay of the craft was full of everything she would need- including spare materials and tools for more weapon fixing and crafting - Xenon pressed a button on the wall of her workshop and climbed into the pilot level of the craft (it had a stairway that led to the cockpit from the cargo bay, as well as an opening that would allow her to gain access to the service sub-passages in case repairs would be needed.) The roof of her large workshop opened, rumbling loudly. It slid sideways and was open with far more width than her considerably large, single-passenger ship would need. The screams of panic from the crazed people outside entered the workshop, but Xenon was safely inside the cockpit and couldn't hear much of it. She was double-checking her inventory, and had just assured that the bathroom was working and her water supply was high and prepared to be replaced when she was checking whether or not she had any clothes prepared. After seeing to it that this was also clear, Xenon strapped herself in and prepared the pre-launch equipment checks. The platform the ship sat on lifted upwards and rotated, providing an angled trajectory for the ship to launch through the roof. Xenon finished her checks a few minutes later, and, activating the automatic security warnings, prepared the launch sequence. "Three... two... one... LAUNCH!" Xenon shouted to herself, and activated the thrusters. In a few moments, the rumbling of the ship transferred to its forward motion, and the vessel cleared the roof of her workshop with ease, burning anything remaining inside with its exhaust. This had been her plan all along, to ensure than nothing of hers could survive if she had to escape the Hazards or the Gores. From above, the clamoring people looked like frantic ants, and they all crowded around the many boarding ramps for the massive public safety ships. Xenon frowned at them: they wouldn't all fit. At least she would have her ship to herself, and not feel the great disappointment of being left behind. Xenon laughed at the thought of being all alone in space, if those ships failed, but she knew she would return to Altaea. It was probably some kind of radiation leak. An hour later, Xenon had already orbited the planet when the public safety ships had started pulling away from Altaea. Xenon herself was already ahead of the pack, observing the chaos through her long-distance camera, which was originally intended for scouting a landing place. A lot of people had been left behind, many belongings denied entry into the ships. It was a shame-- how long would those ships last Sure, they were practically the size of large cities, those crafts, but resources would be limited. Xenon felt inclined to go search for more resources even if the radiation was still being cleared. Xenon jumped out of her seat (and hit her head on the cockpit ceiling) when she saw what happened next. She had to put on her protective visor when she saw it, but the light still penetrated the cockpit and then once more the tinted visor. The light was incredibly bright-- in fact, it set off the ship's security warnings and activated the shielding. Even the emergency weapons system was set online, and the laser weapons immediately found targets and blasted away. What Xenon saw were the many explosions on the surface of Altaea. Each one ripped apart the crust of the planet, and ultimately the white light that had nearly blinded Xenon came from the large explosion that ripped apart the planet into molten rock and floating debris where the planet had once peacefully orbited the Sun. What had set off the shields and the emergency lasers where chunks of debris which approached the ship. The lasers and shields reduced any impacts of broken debris, so Xenon only felt a few rumbles as they hit. Xenon had to snap out of her state of shock when the ship, now absolutely free of the gravitational pull, was launched at a faster pace from where it orbited, and Xenon aggressively steered to keep the ship under control. It passed near one of the public ships, but by then the emergency lasers had deactivated. "Oh my fucking god...... the planet is gone..." Xenon murmured. She slumped in her seat as she steered the ship between and around the public vessels, maintaining a safe, yet aloof distance near the ships full of awestruck and confused people.

(this post is made assuming they're Sonic-esque characters) Dolpho, a young fish-like boy, was in bed when the alarms sounded. As he heard the announcement, he tossed in his bed, covering his hed with his pillow, mumbling over and over ; "shut up, shut up, shutup..." When he did this, his blue and white skin was barely visible. Beside his bed was a window, and at the foot of it was a desk. Above him, a single light which would illuminate the entire room if it were on. Just under his bed were his sneakers, and a jacket just in case. When the announcement would not infact 'shut up' he threw the pillow across the room and sat up. He ehard quite a bit of noise outside; people screaming, the screech of tires, you name it. "What in the fuck... " He mumbled, rubbing his eyes. He reached to his right - to his bedside table moreover - and grabbed a glass of water, and a bottle of pain-killers. He got up, dragging his sneakers out from under the bed with his elft foot and lazily sliding his feet in. He walked intot his door, pushing it open with the weight of his body and began stumbling around his house. The clatter of bottle was heard as he stepped through his kitchen; the remnants of a party. He had been drinking with a few buddies this night, and was feeling the after-effects only now.He downed the glass of water after putting two tablets on his tongue, and then placed the emptied glas son the counter, which he leaned on. One hand scratched his snout, and the other kept him from slamming his body against the counter. The noise got louder, or so he found as he got more and more awake. "What in the hell... " He asked himself, scracthing his right cheeck and trudging to the window, pulling the cord to open the blinds. Upon doing so, he was brought to attention, seeing the chaos outside. People were running over others - both with their own two feet and in vehicles, and all were heading to the spaceports. It was then that it occured to him. "Spaceport..." He said to himself, now rubbing his dorcil fin in a panic. "the planet... What's happening to it... It's being..." He gasped, "Destroyed! Holy shit, the planet's being destroyed !" He pushed himself away from the window and looked around frantically, and spotted what he need under the kitchen table. He dove, and grabbed the tiny object, and slid under the table, and sprang to his feet. He contiuned his path, and ran towards a door at the end of the hall. Without thinking, he shoulder-checked the door and broke it down, now putting himself in the garage, where many tools, calenders, posters, and a motorcycle - customized by himself - were. He grabbed a hammer, and a locket, which he put around his neck, and got on his bike. "Well, Scarlett, time to shine" He sat, patting the bike. He then pressed a button next to the spedometer and the garage door opened slowly. "C'mon, c'mon..." He repeated, tapping his foot on the pedal. Once it was open enough, he went full speed ahead, heading towards the spaceport without concerning himself witht he safety of others. Anyone who tried to stop him... Well, that's what the hammer was for. After his own personal taste of Hell, he made it to the entrance of the nearest spaceport. He crashed the bike in through the frontdoor, and leapt backwards off it, letting it roll and flip into the crowd. He winced as he did so, but he saw no other way to clear a path. A certain kind of remorse was to be seen in his eyes, and even a tear, but no one would notice. No one would even notice the deaths and injuries that came from his actions. Dolpho bobbed and weaved throguh the crowds, and searched hectically for a boarding station. The first one he found was no good. There was not a ship there, he didn't listen to the reason why, and instead continued on his way to find another station. At last, he found one; a station that peopel were boarding. He approached it, his heart racing. And then it occured to him... His bloody hammer. It probably wouldn't look good to try to board. So, while he bobbed and weaved he stuck it in a fat man's back pocket, and continued on. "Good evening, sir, here is your seat number. Remember; remain calm. The evacuation has been prepared for, so there is nothing to fear. Everyone will be fine. Do you have any luggage to bring aboard " Said the woman standing next to the gate, looking just as worried as the rest of the people, but trying to remain calm; partly because it was her job, and partly to try and clam the people. Dolpho cocked one eyebrow and sighed. "Look, lady, I don't know how you can even TRY to be so chipper; people are dying without the planet being destroyed yet. It's chaos. No one is alright at this point... And no, I have no baggage to check in. What the hell kind of question in that " As he spoke, more and more people ran into the ship. He realized it had only limited seating. "Listen, I didn't help the situation none getting here, but I just want to survive. I don't want to see anyone dying who just tried to help; that means you. Save yourself, fuck these people. They're selfish, they're greedy." He looked at the gate once more, "Get on the ship." And with those words, he sprinted onto the ship.

(Imma bit rusty with my RP skills. Bare with me) Attamist awoke to the sounds of panic and disarray, He rolled out of his bed and rubbed his eyes. "Whats the problem this time " Echoed through his head, as he walked towards the nearest window and pulled the curtains back. Sunshine flooded the room, Attamist guards his eyes from the seemingly blinding light until his eyes adjusted. In the streets, wave after wave of people ran, shouted. Some tripped and fell, others ran over them. "The hell is going on... I'm getting these weird feelings in my feet... This can't be good at all..." He thought to himself. He quickly put his gloves and shoes on. "Fuck everything else, I gotta get outta here!" raced through his mind as he jumped out the window and landed on the sidewalk. He raced down the sidewalk dodging those who happen to fall to the ground. "I need an opening! There's one!" He raced towards a small patch of earth and swung his hand into the air. Stone pillar shot out of the ground sending dust and small rocks in every direction, Attamist rode pillar for two seconds before he made it stop suddenly, launching him into high into the air. Where were those ships again! He looked around every chance he got as he continued to spring himself through the air. "There!" He looked slightly to the east to see the rabid crowds entering the Ships at the Ports. He gave his last pillar more speed, when it stopped he flew high into the air, as he began his descent, he saw that the stop where he was going to land was filled with Panicking Citizens. "GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!" He yelled, but it was no use. Attamist landed, sending those within 7 feet of him flying upwards, some flew backwards, while others were hit with Large rocks and mounds of mud and dirt. He pushed people aside, it didn't really matter, Fight to survive or die. Others were falling off the ramps, many were pulled by their hair, coats, and pants. He felt a hand clamp onto him, in a attempt to pull him backwards, he quickly spun around and gave the man swift kick to the face, he stumbled back and fell, along with many others behind him. As he got into the ship a attendant gave him a soft small smile, as if in fear of his rage. "I don't get how you could be smiling at a time like this..." He said as he walked away from her and got into his seat. He buckled himself in and put his head on the head rest. "This is the second planet... I've barely been here 2 years, and already I'm leaving... When will I find a home..."

A young penguin with long defined quill-like fur on the top of his head sat in a chair in his home. It was late but he didn't care, no one with a name like Butter would care. That was, until he heard the alarms going off. Immediately, Butter had gone to see what the trouble was and looked outside his home. People were screaming, panicking, and going absolutely insane and he had no idea until he heard a voice yell "How long do we have till the planet explodes !" to no one in particular. Butter froze after hearing this, 'Explode !' he thought to himself, 'No.. no no no! This cannot be happening!' But it was, and there was nothing anyone could do about it, as far as he was concerned. So he couldn't waste anymore time. He grabbed his watch, glasses, umbrella, and a top hat. He then grabbed a jacket to go with the dress shirt and pants he was wearing and got ready to leave. He was ready to leave when he turned, picked up a glass of fine wine he was drinking, downed it, then grabbed the bottle it came from and left. Butter, after finally listening to the message heard something about getting to the spaceport and realized he didn't have much time to lose. As he started running, people were shoving and pushing him. At one point he almost fell, turned to a person that shoved him and said, "Excuse me, but please be more courteous!" The man didn't respond just looked at him angrily then continued on, even pushing a child out of the way so that he could save his pathetic life. At first, Butter was appalled at the selfish behavior of the people around him. But then, he realized something, "The planet's going to go no matter what.. and a lot of these people will end up dying.." People would be dying, no matter what. He looked at his umbrella and sighed in disgust, 'How could I even be THINKING of that.. ' he thought to himself but decided it had to be done.. He pressed a button on his umbrella as it opened then began to spin around, and fast. It projected an energy shield that someone touched by mistake but was shocked and went flying backwards. Butter realized this would work. He began running through the people, pushing them out of the way with the energy shield as he went near them and so much as brushed up against them with it. He looked away from each and every person he hit to get to the spaceport. He didn't want to see them so that he wouldn't be horrified by their faces if it turned out they had died.. When he was finally close, he put away the umbrella and ran to the nearest chick-in station. A lady standing there looked at him and asked, "Hello, welcome to the spaceport! Do you have anything to check in " "Just this.." Butter said grimly, showing the woman the bottle of liquor he brought. "I don't know if that's allowed.." "I don't care if its allowed.." Butter said, "I possibly just doomed many people so I could save my sorry ass, so I'm going to be enjoying a nice drink..." he said. He took a slip of paper that said where he sat and got into the ship.

The ship closed it's doors when last few people who managed to get on sat down, the pilots oddly calm yet greatly disturbed voice broke the silence that filled the entire ship. "Welcome board, as you can see... Our planet has fallen into a calamity..." He stopped for a second, space was already pulling away from the gravity of the planet... No one even noticed that they took off. As he began to speak again he was cut off. A blinding white glare filled the entire ship. Everyone guarded their eyes and looked away. Attamist only closed his.
"It's a done deal now..."
As the glare cleared, gasps and crying could be heard. Attamist turned and looked out the window. The planet was gone, nothing was left but large parts of the planet floating in place. The Pilot spoke up once again. "Our... Planet is... Gone..." With that, he broke down over the intercom. Attamist's heart sank slowly. A odd feeling of remorse came over him. Everyone he knew, could mostly be dead now, yet here he is. Alive...
"What... did... I do..."
He thought as he remembered all the people he knocked back just trying to get on the ship. He curled up in his chair. He didn't cry, he didn't whimper, he just sat there. All the lives he doomed with his own selfish acts. The ship gathered with all the others that had managed to take off before the Planet self destructed.

Xenon noticed that keeping her distance a healthy rage away from the other ships was beginning to get difficult as the pilots became more distracted by the sudden loss of their home planet. The passenger ships were constantly swaying closer together and then further apart, as if their keeping a formation was too difficult. "I want some answers." Xenon said aloud to herself. She looked over the cockpit controls and located the radio. Flipping a few switched, Xenon ensured that the camera was turned off before she began searching for the radio frequency of the ships. "Hello Come in, passenger ships." Xenon said into the mic. She'd picked up their frequency and would now ask her questions. "I was a resident of Altaea, and I think I, just as much as anyone else, deserve to know just exactly what's going on. Answer me: How did you know the planet would explode And what caused it in the first place You've got a lot of explaining to be doing."

Someone saw and noticed Attamist curled up in his chair. she walked over to him and sat next to him. She placed her hand on his back.
"Don't worry so much, we'll find a new planet to live on soon."
Attamist didn't look at her, but after a pause he responded. "I'm used to traveling" He joked, his voice cracked a little. "I must of killed about 600 people back there..." He continued, He voice cracked some more. He began to get this feeling in the pit of his stomach, he broke a sweat, reality began to take it's course. He stood up abruptly, and ran into the hallways. He couldn't take this feeling, he need to empty himself. in one of the corridors, he fell to his knees and vomited. a service bot quickly drove up and began to clean the mess. He wiped his mouth, and turned over to sit on the ground, he stared at his hands. "I'm a monster... This "Gift"... it's not a gift at all... It's a curse..."

Slade was lying in his bed staring at the ceiling blankly as Grace was resting on his chest. He was reflecting over his childhood and how he couldn't have been happier to find Grace in his life. Though something bothered him, he had a strange feeling that something bad was going to happen. This feeling led him to gently move Grace to her pillow as he exited the bed. Walking through his small house, he opened the door to the back room, which had not been opened for quite a long time. The room was dark and dank, very small as well. It had one window that shined down onto a long silver briefcase that seemed to be untouched by time. There was no sign of dust, rust, dents, or scratches in it, only the locks latched shut. "...Why do I feel so strange today..." Slade sighed as he spoke to himself. He approached the briefcase, popping up both the locks and slowly lifting it open. Inside, was The Fallen, his one and only blade, sheathed and with out a scratched. It's blue and gold design shined in the light. Next to The Fallen was his mask, at this point he felt like he had no control in his body, it seemed as though his arms reached out on their own grabbed the mask. Looking it over, Slade fit the mask over his head and stared at his reflection in the design of his blade. The more he stared the more he began to loathed himself before he was snapped back to reality by a familiar voice. "What're you doing Slade " Grace asked as Slade quickly pulled off his mask and put back in the briefcase. "Nothing... Nothing at all, I just... feel strange is all." Slade replied, looking at the ground. Grace put on a concerned look as he walked over to him, putting her arms around his waist, trying to comfort him, "C'mon Slade, cheer up. Nothings gonna happen today, it's beautiful outside." Grace let out a small laugh after the last part, trying to Slade out of his slight depression. Slade smiled as Grace put her arms him and closed the briefcase, locking it up again. "You're right Grace, I shouldn't be worryi--" Slade was cut off as ear-splitting screams were heard outside the window. The both listened carefully as the PSA to evacuate Altaea went off. At that moment Slade rushed out of the back room, the briefcase in hand, and threw open the closet door. His robe, pants, and shoes were inside along with several of Grace's outfits. He quickly put on his said attire and threw the nearest pair of clothes for Grace on the bed. Grace quickly realize everything that was happening and put on the clothes that Slade had thrown on the bed with out hesitation. "Alright, we need to get the hell out of here NOW!!" Slade shouted as he smashed the window next to bed open. He jumped through the new opening, still holding the briefcase, and Grace following him. They both ran through the streets to the nearest space ship as others ran around aimlessly, confused, and in a panic. They saw countless car crashes, people being trampled, others jumping off buildings until they were stopped by a very large crowd boarding a ship. The time spent waiting seemed like hours, but when the crowd moved again, he lost Grace to it. "GRACE!! WHERE ARE YOU!! Damnit!" Slade shouted through deaf ears. As he came closer the ship he heard the scream of Desri for her mother and father. His face showed some concern for the fox, but he had focus on his problem right now. As he came to the stairs to enter the ship he quickly ran up. Before was completely inside he heard Grace scream his name, "SLADE!!!!" He quickly turned around to see Grace running as fast as she could to join him but she was restrained Altaea guards. He could only watch as Grace was held back and thrown into the rioting crowd. He turned around and took the last steps into the ship, looking around he noticed as everyone on board was taking a seat and buckling in. He did the same and clasped his briefcase onto a 'passenger's item carrier' near his seat. He took another look around to see if Desri or her parents had made it on. Not that he really knew Desri all that well, he had just seen them every now and again. Through his search he was able to find Desri not too far away. "Alright, she made it at least she's okay..." Slade thought to himself, the concern he had for Desri now lifted a little. Soon after the ship lifted off and once they broke free Altaea's gravity pull, he could only watch as Altaea consumed itself in red and eventually explode. The thought of Grace not have making it on the ship was the first thing to enter his mind. An imediate sadness overcame him as a lone tear fell down his cheek. "Grace..." Slade spoke to himself in an empty voice. When the Captain said everyone was free to move about the ship and that the upper floors were now open for exploration, he unbuckled himself and unclasped his briefcase. He walked over to the nearest window and stared out to the debris left of Altaea. "Grace..." escaped his lips once more as another tear fell down his cheek.

((Great work on the detail, guys, this is the best on on the site so far!))
*Desri slowly made her way off the ground from her fall, still slightly dizzy from all of the 'excitement' from today's events. She held her head with her left hand, trying to shake away the stars that she was seeing. When her vision started to focus once more, she picked up her bag and made her way through the crowd of people to a series of photon elevators that lead to the higher levels. The ship was large, almost the size of a large city. In fact, as the elevator platform she was standing on rose, she could start to slowly see what appeared to be buildings or constructs in the form of buildings loom into view. When the elevator reached its destination, she could see sidewalks and pathways, along with some flora and trees. If it weren't for the fact that there was an artificial sky showing daytime, she would've swore that she was still on Altaea.*

((*cough cough*finally*cough cough*))
While Slade was sulking in his own loss, he had punched the observation window several times, had it not been re-enforced glass it would've shattered. Slade leaned against the glass, staring into the endless space before he punched himself mentally, snapping back to reality. He moved his bangs from his eyes and picked up his briefcase again and headed for the photon elevators. As he entered one, it wasn't long before he realized Desri was on the same one as him. He took a seat in the floor and rested the back of his head against the wall of the elevator, the briefcase rested against the wall as well. His gaze shifted to the floor for a moment before he looked over at Desri and spoke up.
"Desri, I'm sorry... about your parents..."

Butter stood up, holding the bottle of fine wine in one hand and his umbrella in the other. The wine was already missing most of it. "Man this.. this really... sucks.." He started stumbling around and nearly falling flat on his face. "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Whooooooooa! It's.. ok people! I'm.. ok... and so is my alcohol!" he downed the rest of it and dropped the glass bottle. It shattered on impact and he looked down in surprise. For no reason, he started snickering at the mess it made then went back into his chair. He cleared his throat then said, "Man I've never felt better.. Now excuse me I have to vomit." he wretched loudly on the seat in front of him, blowing whatever it was he had eaten all over the passenger in front of him. "Ok NOW I've never felt better.." he said.

Attamist opened his eyes. "I must have fallen asleep..." He rubbed his eyes and looked around but nothing looked familiar. "Where am I " Attamist got to his feet and brushed himself off before he started walking through what seemed like a maze of corridors. Until he emerged onto a city street. "What the hell..."

*One of the captains of the colony vessel, Celestia, picked up the transceiver to the rogue call that they were receiving.* "Hello Come in, passenger ships." Xenon said into the mic. She'd picked up their frequency and would now ask her questions. "This is Captain Fargo of the colony 'Celesia'. We can hear you clearly." the captain spoke through the transceiver. "I was a resident of Altaea, and I think I, just as much as anyone else, deserve to know just exactly what's going on. Answer me: How did you know the planet would explode And what caused it in the first place You've got a lot of explaining to be doing." "Unfortunately for us, we have as little information as any other citizen. We only received short word that disaster was upon us to evacuate Altaea, and didn't waste any time. Our geologists from Altaea will know more about the situation than anyone else, so if you would like to search for answers, perhaps it would be in your best interest to board here and find out." *********** *Desri looked up to see Slade standing roughly next to her, looking over at her. Clearly, he was addressing her when he spoke.* "Desri, I'm sorry... about your parents..." he stated, lowering his head. *She shook her head, looking away.* "No, I'm certain that they made it onboard, whether it be this ship or another one." she stated, looking up as the elevator was reaching its destination.

Attamist looked up at the street sign. It read "79th Asper Ave." "Asper Ave... I lived on Asper... maybe..." He thought for a second before he turned and run southward down the street, not many people have entered the city yet, but he saw a few groups here and there, maybe families. He skid to a stop. "5167 N. Asper Street... It's my house... But...." He pulled out the keys he had in his left pocket and slowly slide them into the keyholes. The locks clacked and released as he turned the keys. He slowly opened the door, reached over to the right and flicked the lights on.
