((I am sticking this RP in this area just because I want no sort of limit on it. Pretty much anything goes. Is that ok Jesse dude
Either way it is a free for all who ever want to join in.))
((Also still waiting upon a response from Aluna if I can have her character in this played by her of course; if not I will take her right out.))
Fire raged over the once beautiful and picturesque planet; all that made it great and awed in the solar system was now burning up as thick choking black smoke polluted the air; the once crystal blue sky’s was filled with black and death. This was only but one of the many planets that had fallen victim to this outcome; fighting back was useless. Those who were too proud and held onto hope too much fell victim.
Hour before the planet was largely evacuated the civilians to protected and safe parts on other planets and outposts scattered throughout the universe. Those who remained fought true to their pride showing no fear in the face of uncertainty; in the end, it had come to a total loss. Many died at the first strike and tried to hold the lines outside the capital city walls; like the solid stone walls under attack the defenders slowly crumbled.
They fell back into the streets slowly being pushed all the way back to the imperial palace; the streets ran red with blood, a red carpet running all the way to the palace gates.
For many long hours the defenders were successful in holding there own; the palace seemed to be the impenetrable fortress. All around them, the entire planet was still lost; there was nothing to stay for which would make any difference; there job was complete. To make sure the final rescue crafts could take off uninterrupted with the final lot of civilians.
With the king long dead and the queen escaped with the rest of the family hours before the attack it all came down to the prince as to the final stages of what would become of his planet. He cared very much for his planet as much of his brethrens who choose to stay behind to help defend there motherland and home. They were all heroes no matter what move Twilight choose to pick next.
A message crackled through on the radio set in the operations room within the palace; the Coeur en Noir were charging the ‘death’ beam, which had set the many outcomes of planets that stood in its way over the long months.
The final evacuation of forces was called by Twilight and the last few remaining crafts were filled; they took off without problems as the enemy forces as well cleared out. All that remained on the badly beaten and defeated planet was Twilight Leonardo Moonlight the prince of the Moonlight family and heir to the throne of Losnova, a few soldiers a mixture of wolves and dogs that were too proud to leave without their prince. Finally Aluna a student of Twilight’s who also decided to stay behind to protect her home.
Quickly they all rushed to the last ship available that remained; coincidently being the craft Twilight always commanded ‘The Shooting Star’ a small personnel carrier craft with enough power, shielding and weapons to hold it’s own against anything the Coeur en Noir could throw at them.
“Engines steady and ready” his co-pilot said over the headsets as Twilight sat down and put his own set on before pushing a sequence of buttons on the vast control pad in front of him and the engines roared and the craft shook. A few moments passed before the craft took off out of a secret hanger on another part of the palace airstrip and shot off into the sky at the very moment a huge beam of blinding white light shot down with tremendous speed toward the planet tearing deeper and deeper into the ground till it hit the core.
A few silent moments passed as Twilight and co-pilot were stunned and blinded momentarily by the light; they nearly hit space as the planet imploded. The blast shock wave hit the craft knocking all electronics straight out; the secondary blast wave of mixed power and energy hit the craft and that is where the story truly begins.
They were transported to one planet to another; there craft powerless and plummeting toward this strange and new mysterious planet below them.
“Mayday, mayday; power gone in all engines” Twilight said into the microphone of the headset; he felt strange what had just happened but he focused what the problem right now was; the safety of his crew and getting the craft down or getting the engines to kick in at least.
“Power totally gone in the entire craft; we’re going down” the co-pilot replied sounding noticeably worried keying in a sequence on the control board in front of him with no effect.
“Crap” he cursed as he tried again before one more time “It’s useless” he said panicking and closing his eyes holding back tears.
“Don’t give up yet” Twilight replied back finding it hard himself to try and keep his cool as he keyed in his own sequence to kick start the engines if not any other electronics to at least aid an emergency landing as the ground quite rapidly approached them.
“Panicking won’t solve anything; we’ve been in worse situations than this before and got through ok”
The electronics managed to kick in but it was too late to get the engines started and up to proper operating power; they tried to use there power as a brake by blasting out through the air brakes under the craft; it slowed down a lot but not enough. Before too long not many moments later, they ploughed into a vast forest next to a city with a huge crash as it hit the ground hard and skidded across the damp and muddy ground; many tress fell and snapped all over the place.
The smoldering and smoking shell finally lay still on its belly and all was quiet apart from the odd click and crack coming from the now dying, smoldering, and smoking shell of the craft. Behind the craft, a path of destruction was very much clear.
In the cockpit, the co-pilot was dead on impact, as were all the soldiers who managed to escape with them. Aluna was alive in the back but only just; she sustained bad injuries and not in a great state. Twilight in the cockpit was slumped across the control panel; he was also badly injured but ok. Blood seeped down his face; a deep cut in his head bled free as did a small flow from his nose and a bad cut to his muzzle.
He managed to move in pain to check on his co-pilot seeing no signs of life there; he sighed sadly and closed the open blank eyes.
“Faram” he whispered before making his way into the back of the craft clutching to the side of the damaged and downed ship. One by one he checked his passengers; one after the other the same result as his co-pilot. Inside his heart felt weaker and weaker as each one he checked was dead.
He finally remembered his student his student who sat on her own at the back; she sat strapped in and slumped restricted by the straps. His heart took a beating yet once more as he checked for a sign of life; to his relieve and for his sanity, there was a faint beat.
She was in bad way but still he thanked the gods even for that much; carefully and slowly, he undid the straps and laid her on the floor of the craft.
“I’m not letting you go as well; I’ve already failed too much so far” he said to her as he stroked his gloved hand to her cheek.
“I’d never forgive myself; for my sanity I pray for you”
He closed his eyes and prayed with hands clenched tight; if there was anyway he could her he would do. In a flash of blinding light, he was stunned and suddenly paralysed as light started to emit from his body. Slowly he rose from the floor of the craft and suddenly he felt a fierce burning within; his head shot up to the ceiling as if he wanted to scream but nothing came out. Even his orange flight suit and helmet were outshine by the light.
The curse of his family tree was showing; it was secretly known within the family as the ‘ultimate sacrifice’. One life for another the person cared very much for. It had a high potential and probability on the person to die as it drained them of power and energy.
A ball of white light emitted out of his mouth and started to rain down upon Aluna. All the time Twilight looked stunned feeling scared and not knowing what was going on; slowly and slowly he felt weaker as his life rained down upon his student. Slowly she began to move and twitch; for a moment, she even opened her eyes to gaze up at what was going on yet dazed and confused. She thought of it as maybe just a dream as her eyes shut once more.
A minute later the ball had grown smaller and smaller to nothing. Twilight was now himself limp and unconscious again; his heart still beat just. Luckily, his curse move had not killed him against all odds.
Aluna would live and would retain no injuries. He hoped that help would come by the time either of them woke up.
